SKRABLE HUSSLE IX
We are back for the first LINCOLN HUSTLE event for 2023! This is a crowd favorite that has been lurking in the shadows for the past 4 years. Please read the rules below and be ready to ride on the last Thursday of April (4/27/23).
RACE DETAILS
LOCATION - COSMIC EYE BREWING
MEET - 700PM
RACE START - 730PM
TIME LIMIT - 30 MINS AFTER FIRST FINISHER
$5 DONATION (cash or direct donation link below)
RACE RULES
* Highest scoring word wins.
* Race ends 30 minutes after the first hustler plays a word.
* Once you play a word, it is FINAL.
* Finishing involves assembling a word with as many letters from the checkpoints.
* ONLY 1 LETTER CAN BE USED FROM EACH CHECKPOINT.
* There is no board to play on. The word will be played by itself floating in time and space.
* All checkpoints are OPTIONAL.
* Riders are allowed a minimum of 2 letters to form a word.
* Only letters used in word count for final scoring purposes.
* Words will be checked against the Hasbro Scrabble Dictionary
SCORING
1st WORD - triple word score modifier
2nd WORD - double word score modifier
3rd WORD - triple letter score modifier (any ONE letter)
4th WORD - double letter score modifier (any ONE letter)
BINGO - Using all seven letters for one word - additional 50 pts added to word score
DONATION - Raptor Conservation Alliance
$5 donation can be paid in cash at the beginning of the race
