Waiting to see what the weather is going to be like to settle on a time/place. You don't have to sing, but if you do we'll have a competition of sorts. Costumes and offerings to Krampus are encouraged.

If enough singers are interested we may let people buy requests for them to sing and donate that money to either the food pantry or Bike Kitchen.

29 cyclists participated, helping Rhino celebrate his birthday and raising over $150.00 for the Star City Pride Victim Recovery Fund in the process. A small storm moved through Lincoln within 5 minutes of the race beginning, drenching the participants. It was awesome. Much thanks to Minda Loo for, once again, hosting the annual event and to the ladies who showed up with their instruments and provided music. Congratulations to Josh and Jeremiah for their win and to Laura for her 1st place female win.

Return of the Scrabble Hustle

Meet at 7:30 pm Thursday March 29^th at Center courtyard of SouthPointe Pavilions (between Banana Republic and Victoria’s Secret)

Race starts at 8:00pm

$5

7 checkpoints, one letter per checkpoint

Highest scoring word wins.

Race ends 45 minutes after first rider finishes.

Finishing involves assembling a word with as many letters from the checkpoints as the rider can use.

1^st rider to finish: triple word score

2^nd rider to finish: double word score

3^rd rider to finish: triple letter score

4^th rider to finish: double letter score

Using seven letters for one word ‘bingo’: 50 points

All checkpoints are optional. Riders must have a word to finish, and all words must be in the Official Scrabble Players Dictionary 3^rd edition.

Only letters that are used to form a word count toward scores. Only one letter can be used from each checkpoint.
